At the heart of the LEADER project Women's Traces in the Saarpfalz district are the biographies of women who have played a significant role in the region or in their locality. You can browse through the stories that have been researched and analysed using a map, by category, by era or by name .

Is an important woman from the history of the district missing here? Perhaps we are currently working on a text about her, or perhaps we do not yet know her name. Please feel free to contact the Women's Office with any information:

Localisation

It is rarely possible to assign exact addresses to the women. The majority are therefore shown here at any point in their home community, place of work, etc.

Zoom

To be able to see all the women in a community, you need to zoom in on dense areas.
Zooming is possible using the mouse wheel.

Forwarding

Clicking on the individual markers reveals initial information and a link to the biography text.
The biography opens in a new tab, making it easy to return to the map.
