Heat and UV protection in nurseries and schools

Children are particularly at risk from heat and UV radiation. However, as heat and UV radiation also have an impact on the health of adults, the employees of the respective facility also benefit from the implementation of suitable protective measures.
Nursery and school projects on UV protection:
- Nursery: ‘SunPass – healthy fun in the sun for children’ project by the Saarland Cancer Society
- Primary school classes 1+2: Sun checker programme "Clever in sun and shade" from the National Centre for Tumour Diseases (Dresden University Hospital)
- Primary school classes 3+4: "UV protection with Anna and Max" from the "The sun and us" project team at the Centre for Molecular Medicine and the Department of Dermatology (University and University Hospital of Cologne)
- Secondary schools: "Simply U" project for 13-16 year olds on sun and UV protection (Saarland Cancer Society)
