Heat warnings
To ensure that you and others are prepared for heatwaves, it is important to stay informed about ways to protect yourself from the heat and the current weather conditions. To this end, the German Weather Service (DWD) issues heat warnings, which you can view on the DWD website or receive automatically:

Heat warning level 1 (high heat load)
The perceived temperature in the early afternoon is around 32°C or higher
Heat warning level 2 (extreme heat load)
The perceived temperature in the early afternoon is around 38°C or higher
