Weimar Triangle
The French association Triangle de Weimar invited students and pupils from Germany, France and Poland to take part in an exciting intercultural exchange. The aim of the project was to write essays and design posters. The topic was: "The role of youth in digital technologies in the service of a strong and united Europe". Around thirty students from the three countries had the opportunity to develop their thoughts and ideas on this forward-looking topic.
We are particularly proud that Izabela Augustyn from our Polish partner district of Łańcut won first prize in the Weimar Triangle trilateral competition for Poland. This is a great success for the German-Polish-French partnership and an outstanding example of the strength of intercultural dialogue and cooperation between our countries.
Izabela's impressive achievement shows how valuable intercultural exchange is for young people. In her project, she focussed on the highly topical issue of digital technologies, in particular the challenges and opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and cyber security - two key issues that affect not only young people, but the whole of Europe. Her work helps to emphasise the role of young people as active co-creators of a digital future.
This result is impressive proof of the lively partnership work between the Saarpfalz district and the district of Łańcut. It shows how such initiatives not only promote talent, but also create a strong foundation for European cooperation.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Izabela Augustyn on her exceptional achievement and expressly thank Zespół Szkół No. 3 in Łańcut, District Administrator Adam Krzysztoń and all other partners for their outstanding support.
