Mobile phone and digital advice sessions for the over-60s
Once a month, we run our mobile phone and digital advice sessions for the over-60s – usually on the first Wednesday of the month.
You can bring your own device (smartphone or tablet) and ask specific questions on the day. We’ll help you with the settings, explain how to use your device and also cover a topical issue each time.

MINTwoch Workshop
After the summer holidays, we’ll be launching our monthly MINTwoch workshop. In this format, we’ll spend an afternoon focusing intensively on a particular technique or topic.
The programme is aimed at educational staff – for example, from nurseries and schools – who are interested in new technologies and professional exchange. Whether it’s using green screens, 3D printing, educational robots such as Calliope, or current topics such as artificial intelligence or cyber grooming – each workshop has a specific focus.
As well as practical insights and trial periods, the main focus is on sharing ideas. You will have the opportunity to develop your own ideas and work together to consider how the content can be effectively implemented in your organisation.
The MINTwoch workshop is expected to take place every second Wednesday of the month.

MINTwoch Creative
This year will also see the launch of our new programme, MINTwoch Kreativ . We are planning exciting STEM activities for children, school pupils and young people.
The focus is on discovering, experimenting and working creatively with various technologies and materials.

A look ahead to upcoming events
Further events are also being planned for the coming months. In cooperation with ME-Saar, there will once again be a programme for educational professionals.
In addition, we are once again helping to organise a professional development and networking day on the topic of ‘STEM and language’, which will focus on discussion, inspiration and practical examples.
