The Saarpfalz District Media Centre+
At the Media Centre+ (MZ+), we combine creativity, technology and education to create a space where ideas can flourish. We see ourselves as an open space for anyone who wishes not only to consume media, but also to actively shape it and use it in an educationally meaningful way – regardless of age, experience or background.
As a key player in the region, we also act as a catalyst: we connect educational institutions, support professionals and share our knowledge in a targeted manner to strengthen sustainable media education at a local level.
A particular focus of our work is on STEM subjects. Through a wide range of activities centred on maths, computing, scienceand technology, we encourage curiosity, problem-solving skills and creative thinking. Whether it’s robotics, programming, 3D printing or digital experiments – we create learning environments where future technologies become understandable and tangible.
We support nurseries, schools, educational institutions and charitable organisations by providing media resources, technology, training and advice.
