One aspect of our educational work is based on what are known as the 4K skills: creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. We create learning environments in which these skills are specifically developed – through working together, reflective experimentation and the open exchange of ideas.
Our services range from workshops and projects in the STEM field to individual consultancy and technical support. We place great emphasis on practical learning: the focus is on trying things out, reflecting on them and developing them further.
As a hub for exchange and collaboration, we bring people together – from complete beginners to experienced creatives. We promote media literacy, foster critical thinking and support creative processes from the initial idea right through to the finished project.
Our aim is to make media understandable, accessible and useful. In this way, we create a space where innovation, participation and creative development are possible.
Who works at the Media Centre+? We are staff members of the Saarpfalz District’s Department for Social Change, Education and Demography. We support educational partners by providing advice, resources and practical programmes. The MZ+ team supports projects, training courses and events relating to media education, digital education and STEM.
