The Saarpfalz District Women's Office is once again offering drumming courses for beginners and advanced drummers. The next courses will take place from Monday 26 August and on nine other Mondays from 18:45 to 19:45 (advanced) and from 20:00 to 21:00 (beginners). The course will be held at Café Frauenzimmer, Scheffelplatz 1 in Homburg and will be led by rhythm teacher Nicole Schweitzer, who will teach simple or more complex rhythms from Africa and Brazil in a group setting. Through rhythm games, body percussion, voice and movement, new arrangements are learnt and playing techniques are practised. Complete beginners who have never played an instrument before are also very welcome.
