Climate adaptation
(within the jurisdiction of the Saarpfalz district)
Climate adaptation is, alongside climate protection, the second pillar that is becoming increasingly important.
The Saarpfalz District is responsible for climate adaptation in the areas of health protection and civil protection, as well as in relation to its own properties. There is ongoing coordination with the relevant officials in the municipalities within the district to ensure joint and more rapid progress. The municipalities themselves are responsible for further climate adaptation measures within their own areas.
