Milestones
Since the Homburg Alliance was founded, a number of important milestones have already been reached on the joint mission towards a united and peaceful Europe. Starting from the core areas of partnership work at administrative and cultural level (maintaining contacts, school partnerships, language promotion, regional studies, etc.), specific fields of cooperation have been developed, such as intercultural youth work and democracy education, European remembrance culture, sustainable tourism and regional development and renewable energies. The regular dialogue between local political representatives on these different topics has resulted in further agreements and "offshoots" of the alliance, which are the carriers of the message of solidarity.
