You have questions - we have the answers

The public authority number 115 is your first point of contact for administrative questions of all kinds. We answer the most frequent enquiries from citizens - from A for registration to Z for authorisation. No matter who is responsible at local, state or federal level.

The advantages of the 115

The public authority number eliminates the time-consuming search for the relevant office, telephone numbers and opening hours. The friendly staff at the 115 service centre can provide reliable answers to your questions quickly and competently.

115 is your contact to the administration - no matter where you are and what question you have. You can reach our friendly, competent staff quickly and reliably, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. Your matter will be dealt with at the first point of contact. If this is not possible, we will pass it on for processing.

How much does a call to 115 cost?

The 115 service is basically free of charge for you. You only have to pay the telephone costs to your telephone provider. You can call 115 from the German landline network at the local rate. It is also included in many flat rates offered by German mobile phone providers. Calls from abroad or via a foreign mobile phone contract may incur higher telephone costs.

Further information on the 115 can be found in the "D115" flyer (pdf) or on the D115 website.
