Early support
Service description
Early intervention is a service for children from birth to school age who show special developmental characteristics.
On behalf of our cooperation partners, we offer individual counselling and examinations for your child in partnership with you.
Our common goal is to support your child's individual development as early as possible, to prevent undesirable developments or to alleviate an existing disability.
The use of early intervention is voluntary.
Procedure
The examination takes place in a child-friendly environment by our team of social-medical assistants and paediatricians at the public health department.
Our report is summarised by the early intervention institutions into a holistic report for your child and made available to the State Office for Social Affairs for approval of benefits.
At the end, you will receive a letter of authorisation for your child's early intervention.
