Outpatient support for refugee families
Service description
As part of this programme, socio-educational specialists advise and support families with a refugee or migrant background below the threshold of child-raising assistance.
Access is either through direct enquiries from families to the family support centre, through the district social services or other services such as school social work, early help, advice centres, schools or daycare centres.
The scope of the assistance is flexible, as is the frequency of contact.
The programme can support families in the following areas:
- Networking with other advice centres, daycare centres and schools
- Accompaniment to authorities, doctors and other facilities
- Submitting applications, processing mail, structuring documents at home
Some of the help is provided with the help of our language and cultural mediators.
