Forum for education
Service description
Together with various cooperation partners, the family support centres offer families a forum to meet, exchange ideas and strengthen their own skills for successful everyday parenting and family life. A wide variety of forms are offered, such as courses, seminars, open offers, family weekends, discussion groups, film evenings and projects. These are aimed at families in different ways of life, phases of life and life situations.
The goals of the Forum for Education:
- Providing basic knowledge on the subject of family and parenting.
- Understanding your own family situation and that of your child
- Encouraging reflection and self-knowledge, changing attitudes and behaviour
- Expanding parental and family action competences
- Strengthening the parental self-concept and self-confidence
- Networking and exchange with other parents
