Mentally ill people (counselling and support)
Service description
The Social Psychiatric Service supports, accompanies and counsels people in the Saarpfalz district with a mental illness. In addition to social psychiatric pre- and after-care, we support people in crisis situations and arrange appropriate further help. We cooperate with the other services of the district administration and other institutions, counselling centres, clinics and medical specialists. Our focus is always on maintaining and strengthening the self-determination of the people affected.
In addition to those affected themselves, relatives, people from their social environment or other institutions can also make use of our counselling services. We offer counselling by telephone, in our offices (St. Ingbert and Homburg) or at your home. The counselling service is free of charge and confidential.
