Service description
The social psychiatric service of the public health department advises and supports people in the Saarpfalz district who find themselves in stressful life situations or emergencies. For people with a mental illness, we offer counselling and support or arrange appropriate psychosocial help. Here we cooperate with the other services of the district administration and other institutions, counselling centres, clinics and specialists.
In addition to those affected themselves, relatives, people from their social environment or other institutions can also make use of our counselling services. The service is free of charge and confidential.
The social psychiatric service also provides advice and information on HIV/Aids, sexually transmitted diseases, addiction, pregnancy/conflict counselling and health promotion.
On-site consultations are available in Homburg and St. Ingbert, and home visits can also be arranged if required. In all cases, an appointment must be made in advance.Applications / Forms
