The Saarpfalz district supports all facets of volunteering, recognises the enrichment that is inherent in voluntary help and enables interested parties to receive targeted further training and qualifications.
The Volunteer Exchange sees itself as part of a nationwide advisory infrastructure that brings together potential volunteers and organisations/clubs etc. in the areas of social affairs, sport, education/culture, environmental protection and animal welfare.

- Volunteer card
- Advice and placement of volunteers in suitable volunteer positions(to the volunteer exchange)
- Advice for sponsors, associations etc. as well as companies and organisations
- Information on all aspects of volunteering
- Organisation of information events, seminars, lectures etc. on current topics, e.g. insurance or tax issues in voluntary work
- Co-operation and networking
- Support for existing projects and development of new projects
- Press and public relations
- Platform for exchanging opinions and information
