Service description
The Youth and Work Coordination Centre advises young people and young adults in cooperation with various institutions in their search for career prospects.
It helps to publicise the offers of various labour market players and to network them with each other. It is the point of contact for young people and young adults as well as for parents, companies and schools.
The Youth and Work Coordination Centre is funded by the Saarland Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Women and Health and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
The Youth and Work Coordination Centre offers help and guidance with questions such as
- What do you want to do after school?
- Where can I catch up on my school-leaving qualifications?
- Where can I do an internship?
- How can I find an apprenticeship or a job?
- Are there financial aids and subsidies?
- Who else can I contact?
It offers support for:
- Applications
- the search for an apprenticeship or job
- when dealing with authorities and offices
- for personal questions and problems
- in the initiation and realisation of school perspective conferences
Those seeking advice as well as employers receive information on funding opportunities and subsidies for the training and employment of young people and young adults.
The Youth and Work Coordination Office in the Saarpfalz district is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Saarland Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Women and Health as part of the "Investments in Growth and Employment" programme.
Prerequisites
The advice provided by the coordination centre is open to all young people up to the age of 25 living in the Saarpfalz district who are looking for a career, as well as their parents, companies and multipliers.
Which documents are required?
It is recommended that you bring certificates and any proof of qualifications and application documents with you to the counselling appointment.
What fees are charged?
Counselling is free of charge.

The counselling service is granted irrespective of the application.
