Benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act from the social welfare office
Refugees from Ukraine can receive support for living expenses, personal needs and accommodation from the social welfare office if they are in need.
Please complete the short application form. You can obtain this from the relevant social welfare office.
Please enclose with the application - if available - copies of your identity documents, registration certificate from the Foreigners' Registration Office in Lebach, landlord's certificate and a list of ancillary costs.
Accommodation - assumption of rental and ancillary costs
Within the framework of the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act, the Social Welfare Office also covers the costs of accommodation for refugees from Ukraine within the limits of appropriateness. If the accommodation costs are higher than the reference values, the costs that can be covered will be examined on a case-by-case basis.
If initial equipment is required for the home (e.g. furniture, crockery, etc.), a one-off payment can also be made by the social welfare office.
