Office of the Expert Committee
Developments in recent years show how important land is for people and the environment today and how important it will be in the future. The property market is therefore being watched with interest by business, administration, planning and the construction industry. The value of the property often plays a key role in all projects. The questions are asked again and again:
- What is an appropriate purchase price?
- How high can the financing framework be?
- Where can you still find affordable properties?
If you have these or similar questions, you can contact the local office of the expert committee for property values and other valuations.
Expert committee
The expert committee is an autonomous and independent body made up of a chairperson and several experienced and knowledgeable experts. These are appointed by the responsible district administrator for a period of four years. The experts belong to various professional groups from the private and public sectors (e.g. construction, surveying and finance experts). Their work is based on the Building Code and the relevant federal and state regulations.
The tasks of the expert committee and its office are in particular
- The preparation of expert opinions on the market value of developed and undeveloped properties (including freehold flats) and rights to properties
- The management of the purchase price collection
- The determination and publication of standard land values (average site values for the land) and
- The determination of other data required for the valuation (e.g. index series, conversion coefficients, market reports)
