The course ‘Singing from the Heart – Together Across the Generations’ is aimed at families with children aged between six and twelve. Without any expectations or pressure to perform, the children can discover their own voices together with a parent or carer. Children in particular benefit greatly from singing together and from physical activity: voice, body awareness, language, concentration and self-confidence are developed in a playful way. At the same time, the shared musical experience strengthens social interaction and a love of creative expression. The workshop takes place on four Saturday mornings from 10 am to 11 am.
In the workshop for adults, ‘Singing from the Heart – However the Mood Takes You’, participants sing well-known songs together, including variations such as canons or polyphonic passages. The programme is flexibly adapted to suit the group’s needs, with sessions designed to build on one another where possible.
The focus is on enjoying what you do – with no pressure to perform and regardless of your skill level. All you need to bring is comfortable clothing. The adults’ workshop takes place on four Saturday mornings from 11 am to 1 pm.
