A new training course begins after the summer holidays and is aimed at anyone wishing to gain the qualifications required to work in childcare. The six-month course is offered on a part-time basis and is delivered in accordance with the competence-based training handbook (QHB). The modules will take place full-time during the introductory week and thereafter once a week in the afternoon. Once the training course has been successfully completed, a positive suitability assessment has been carried out by the Youth Welfare Office and the childcare premises have been inspected, participants may commence work.
Anyone interested, particularly those from the Homburg and Bexbach areas, can attend an information session organised by the District Youth Welfare Office on Wednesday 15 July at 3 pm at Talstraße 57b in Homburg. The session will cover the role of a childminder, the course details and the earning potential.
