Building on the success of the ‘Nuits Celtiques’ at Malbrouck Castle, this new cross-border event offers an extraordinary musical experience amidst the impressive archaeological excavations of the Bliesbruck-Reinheim European Cultural Park. For a whole weekend, Celtic sounds will fill this unique site, steeped in more than two thousand years of history.
For one weekend, the Archaeology Park will be all about bagpipes, harps, flutes and percussion. Against this extraordinary backdrop, artists and bands from various countries will bring to life the musical traditions of Brittany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and other regions with Celtic influences.
This inaugural cross-border event, taking place in Bliesbruck (France) and Reinheim (Germany), celebrates encounters, cultural exchange and Europe’s cultural richness. A total of nine bands specialising in Celtic rock, Celtic punk and Irish folk will provide a varied programme that offers something for every musical taste in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
Step across the threshold into the world of Celtic music, discover an extraordinary archaeological heritage and experience unforgettable moments in a place where the past and present blend together seamlessly.
In addition, visitors have the opportunity to explore the cultural attractions on the German side free of charge, including the Princess’s Tomb, which, as an outstanding testament to Celtic history, complements the event in a special way.
Admission to the museums and to the special exhibition ‘Gold in the Sand – The Discovery of the Princess’s Tomb’ is included in the ticket price.
The museum exhibitions can be visited on Friday 7 August 2026 until 6 pm and on Saturday 8 August 2026 until 7 pm.
