The campaign focuses on the new hiking stamp pass for the Bliessteig trail. The poster motif invites visitors to order the hiking pass free of charge via the website urlaub-bliesgau.de or to collect it from the local tourist information centres.
The special thing for all hikers: The hiking pass comes with a voucher for a biosphere ticket for up to 5 people worth 9 euros for the use of buses and trains in the biosphere.
Stamping stations have been set up at the stages of the Bliessteig to fill the hiking pass. In this way, hikers can document their progress and also secure a further surprise from Saarpfalz-Touristik or the tourist information centres after completing all the stages with a full hiking pass.
As the Bliessteig is designed as a stage trail, the question of how to return to the starting point often arises. This is where the integrated mobility concept comes into play: as the stage destinations are well connected to local transport, the return journey is very easy by bus or train. The voucher handed over with the hiking pass invites you to try out the service free of charge. The voucher can simply be redeemed with the bus driver for a biosphere ticket. This is valid as a day ticket on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays for up to five people in the entire Saarpfalz district, the municipality of Kleinblittersdorf and thus also in the entire Bliesgau biosphere reserve. As all stage ends have excellent public transport connections, the return journey becomes a comfortable part of the nature experience.
District Administrator Frank John emphasises the importance of the campaign for the region:

In 2026, we want to show that we are not resting on our laurels, but are consistently developing the service for our guests. By closely linking tourism and mobility, we offer an unbeatable incentive to leave the car behind and enjoy our beautiful biosphere stress-free with the free biosphere bus ticket - which means a saving of 9 euros per group."
