The Saarpfalz district youth welfare office and health department will be providing information about their counselling services at the city festival of inclusion on 13 June. Employees from the Early Help, Social Psychiatric Service, Climate & Health, Youth Welfare Office and Procedural Guides will be available at the information stands in Talstraße opposite Christian-Weber-Platz to answer questions and talk to people in person. Visitors will receive information on the various support services offered by the Saarpfalz district and can obtain personalised advice. In addition, various hands-on activities invite visitors to get into dialogue with each other.
Small fabric bags from fair trade can be creatively designed. With a colourful fingerprint on a Saarland map in the design of the Special Olympics National Games Saarland, visitors can make a visible sign of their participation. In addition, a tactile box with various materials offers the opportunity to discover different sensory impressions. For children, the programme includes a movement course and making UV bead bracelets. Adults are invited to explore the topic of mental health in a playful way. The exercise trail was supported by an internal fundraising campaign within the district administration. Employees donated bobby cars for this purpose, which are now being used at the city festival.
The Saarpfalz district is looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors and to a lively exchange on the topics of participation, inclusion and support in everyday life.
