The wait is over: the Saarpfalz District Adult Education Centre (KVHS) has published its brand new programme for 2025/26 and invites all those with a thirst for knowledge and curiosity on a journey of discovery through a diverse range of courses. In keeping with its "European and cosmopolitan" profile, the KVHS programme ranges from cutting-edge digital education to creative craftsmanship and international culinary delights.

The programme reflects the focus of the modern educational institution: the STEM area is a top priority, especially digital education. The European idea is also strongly represented, which is reflected in language courses and intercultural programmes. The programme is rounded off by tried-and-tested courses in the areas of health, culture and society as well as special offers for young people in the "Young VHS".
Two particular highlights from the new programme demonstrate the impressive range: the online course "AI Basic Course - Artificial Intelligence for Beginners" is offered for digital pioneers. Here, the world of ChatGPT and co. is explained in a practical way - from setting up an account to legal aspects and effective "prompting" techniques. The first course will take place on Tuesday, 30 September, from 7 to 8.30 pm (course no. 03012).
For world explorers, the cooking course "Vegan through Asia - Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia" takes you on a culinary tour through the flavours of Southeast Asia. Classics such as Pad Thai, summer rolls and mango sticky rice are prepared together. The course (course no. 02074) will take place on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, from 5.30 to 9.30 pm in the kitchen of the Geschwister-Scholl-Schule in Blieskastel.
