The Saarpfalz district and SaarForst Landesbetrieb are joining forces in the maintenance of tourist infrastructure. As part of this co-operation, a new mulcher was purchased by the Saarpfalz district. In future, the machine will be used in the Karlsberg Castle Forest Park, where it will be utilised by SaarForst to maintain the grounds. At the same time, it will be available to the Saarpfalz district for hiking trail and landscape maintenance measures.
"The collaboration with SaarForst is a great benefit for our district," explains District Administrator Frank John, "with the new mulcher, we can further improve the quality and accessibility of our paths. This benefits not only our citizens, but also numerous guests who visit our region to hike and relax."
The partnership aims to utilise resources sensibly and create synergies. The joint use of the equipment not only increases maintenance efficiency, but also makes an important contribution to maintaining the region's appeal to tourists.
