District Administrator Frank John visited the police stations in Sankt Ingbert and Homburg in the run-up to Christmas. New in office, it was important to him to introduce himself at the stations and to convey his Christmas greetings personally. He received a warm welcome from Chief Superintendent Sabrina Nesseler, Deputy Head of the St. Ingbert police station, and Head of the Homburg police station Reiner Hartz. In an informal exchange with police officers on duty, the topics discussed included police co-operation with various departments of the district administration, security issues, demands on police work and much more.
The head of administration emphasised: "Your commitment in the context of closely interwoven areas of responsibility at the district administration deserves our respect. Employees have confirmed to me how positively your presence is received, even in acute situations. The work of the police is indispensable for a safe region and as a contribution to the common good. That is why the targeted and reliable cooperation with the police is extremely valuable and deserves our thanks."
He wished the police officers who have to work over the festive period as harmless missions as possible, but generally wished everyone a peaceful Christmas and a healthy and safe start to the New Year.
Christmas greetings also went to the team at Blieskastel police station, where the District Administrator would like to pay a visit in the new year.
