Online appointment allocation
All registration requests at the vehicle registration authority are coordinated via the online appointment system.
This does not apply to the immobilisation of a vehicle, which can be done at the information desk during regular opening hours.
After booking an appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail.
Please note that appointments can only be booked up to 14 days in the future.

With i-KFZ, many registration processes are already possible online.

- You can find a vehicle tax calculator on the website of the Federal Ministry of Finance
- Please note that the licence plates must be presented before the seals are removed, e.g. in the event of decommissioning, transfer with change of licence plate, etc.
- It is advisable to present the original MOT certificates (HU) for all registration procedures.
- If exemptions from the StVZO/FZV or individual approvals in accordance with the EG-FGV have to be granted, registration can take place on the following working day at the earliest, and the vehicle may even have to be presented (e.g.: licence plate size exemption).
- If the original TÜV report is no longer available, it is possible to request a duplicate from the technical inspection organisation.
