Drinking water is one of the best-monitored foods in Germany and is also an ideal thirst quencher, and not just on hot days! This is why the Saarpfalz district has been steadily expanding its network of drinking water dispensers in the district's own properties for several years.

Refill initiative
On hot days, it is particularly important to drink enough fluids while travelling. Refill stations are one way of refilling empty drinking containers that you have brought with you. The "Refill" concept is very simple. Businesses, public offices, shops, restaurants, pharmacies and other establishments with fixed opening hours display the Refill sticker on windows or doors in the entrance area to indicate that empty drinking containers can be refilled with tap water free of charge.
In order to expand the network of freely accessible drinking water stations in the Saarpfalz district, organisations and companies are still being sought to join this initiative.

- Obtain refill stickers and affix them visibly in the entrance area
