The Saarpfalz District Adult Education Centre is offering a free lecture on the topic of "New heat pump - what now?" at its premises in Blieskastel on Tuesday, 18 February.
With rising energy costs and due to the new Building Energy Act, many building owners should and want to save energy and utilise renewable energy sources by using a heat pump. But is your own house even suitable for the use of a heat pump? How do you go about it and what should you pay attention to when planning and installing it? And how can you optimise an existing heat pump for economical operation and thus save energy?
In this presentation, Mathias Marx, energy consultant at the consumer advice centre and building expert, explains the steps required to convert to a new heat pump heating system and what needs to be considered during planning and implementation. The presentation will also discuss possible subsidies. Helpful practical tips will be given on how to save energy when operating a heat pump. At the same time, terms such as COP.JAZ, hydraulic balancing, heating characteristic curve and much more will be clearly explained.
