Money box made from papier-mâché

From Tuesday 18 March, the Saarpfalz-Kreis Adult Education Centre is offering a papier-mâché course for children aged 7 and over at the Geschwister-Scholl-Schule in Blieskastel. The course comprises three dates, each from 16:30 to 18:00. The children will learn how to create a personalised money box out of papier-mâché - whether a classic piggy bank, treasure chest or fantasy figure. Craft skills, imagination and a sense of sustainability are encouraged in a playful way. The first step is an introduction to the papier-mâché technique. Different shapes are created using various materials, which are then creatively painted and decorated. This encourages motor skills, imagination and style. As a result, the children can take home a unique money box - a daily companion with lasting value. The participation fee is 25 euros including craft materials.

Registration is required for all KVHS courses and lectures. For further information on course times and locations as well as registration, please call 06842 9243-10 or visit www.kvhs-saarpfalz.de.
