Due to a renovation project in the area of the access road to the bus station, bus services are expected to be delayed from next weekend until 28 February. As the bus station can only be approached from the direction of Erbach from the time of the closure, the routes from the city centre must first take a turning loop in Erbach. This delays arrivals and departures at the bus station, which can lead to delays. Due to the tight timetable, route 501 will not be travelling to the main station during this period, but will instead end and start at the "Rondell" stop in Homburg, from where a short walk through Eisenbahnstraße leads to the station.
Line 280 from and in the direction of Kusel will also not call at the station for the duration of the full closure. Here too, the "Rondell" stop will be used as an alternative for boarding and alighting at the station.
