Guided tour for children
On 16 April at 2 pm, children aged six to twelve have the opportunity to take part in the children's tour. There are exciting things to discover about the Romans who lived in the Bliesgau over 2000 years ago. Curiosity and questions of all kinds are welcome. The content is presented in a relaxed, child-friendly atmosphere. The tour lasts one and a half hours. A guided tour for parents is offered at the same time as the children's tour. This way the children are among themselves. The guided tour for children is free of charge, while adults pay an admission fee of five euros per person (concessions 3.50 euros). Please register by 14 April by calling (06843) 900211 or sending an email to [email protected].
Easter egg hunt
On 20 and 21 April, the European Cultural Park will be holding an Easter campaign. Colourful wooden Easter eggs are hidden in the museums, Maison Jean Schaub, in the exhibition rooms above the tavern and in the new buildings B8 and B10. The Easter Bunny has also been busy handing out eggs in the museums in Bliesbruck. Visitors can set off in search of the eggs. If they find the right number of eggs, there will be a little surprise for all explorers at the ticket offices in the Maison Jean Schaub or the exhibition centre in Bliesbruck.
Guided tour for senior citizens
One week later, on Sunday 27 April, a guided tour for senior citizens will be offered from 2 to 4 pm, which is specially tailored to their needs, such as walking slowly and speaking louder. Please register by Thursday, 24 April by calling (06843) 900211. A minimum number of participants is required. The guided tour itself is free of charge, only the reduced admission fee of €3.50 to the museums is payable. The meeting point is at the Museum Maison Jean Schaub.
The museums are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Easter holidays. For more information, visit www.europaeischer-kulturpark.de or call (06843) 900211.
