The Saarpfalz District Volunteer Exchange is offering a free hygiene training course for volunteers in cooperation with the public health department. It will take place on Thursday, 26 September, from 5 pm in the small meeting room in the Homburg Forum.
Whether it's a barbecue, a club party or a cake sale at a fire service festival - hygiene is always important, especially when it comes to food. Health supervisor Michael Gutzeit uses practical examples during the hygiene briefing to provide information about illnesses that can easily be transmitted to other people through food, as well as information about foods that are particularly easy to spread pathogens through. In addition, bans on activities and employment in the event of certain illnesses or symptoms of illness are pointed out.
For the hygiene instruction, it is necessary to submit the confirmation of the association for the participants (maximum three persons per association) in advance and personal data must be provided. The registration deadline is 19 September and the number of participants is limited.
