The Saarpfalz district youth welfare service in cooperation with the youth welfare officers of the towns of Bexbach, Blieskastel, Homburg and St. Ingbert and the municipality of Kirkel are offering a trip to the musical "The Ice Queen" in Stuttgart for children and young people during the carnival holidays on Tuesday, 25 February.
Disney's "The Ice Queen" is the story of two sisters who could not be more different and yet are inextricably linked. Together with snowman Olaf, Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, Anna and Elsa embark on a mysterious musical adventure full of magic. With heart and humour, the modern fairy tale tells of sibling love, loyalty and the courage to go your own way and accept yourself: a story with exciting contrasts that captivates young and old alike. A backstage tour offering exciting insights behind the scenes is available on request.
The day trip is for children aged 12 and over. The participation fee is 40 euros, possibly 50 euros with a backstage tour. The group departs from St. Ingbert and Homburg at lunchtime in a modern coach bound for Stuttgart. The performance starts at 6.30 p.m. and the return journey will be at around 1 a.m.
For younger musical fans, "Tabaluga and Lilli" is coming to the Saalbau in Homburg on 8 March. The event starts at 5 pm. In the fairytale musical version based on an idea by Peter Maffay, the little dragon Tabaluga sets off to save the world from the evil machinations of the terrible snowman Arktos. He is endeavouring to cover the whole world in ice and destroy all living things. On his adventure, Tabaluga faces many dangers, but also gets to know beautiful things, such as the girl Lilli and thus also the power of love.
The participation fee for children aged 6 and over is 15 euros.
The costs of both trips can be covered by the education and participation package.
