Christmas, "the festival of festivals", hardly anyone wants to be alone. Many women in particular are affected by loneliness, and there are many different reasons for this. The Saarpfalz district's Café Frauenzimmer on Scheffelplatz in Homburg will be open again this year for all lonely women on Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24 December, from 5 to 9 pm. Sabine Ullrich has been organising a cheerful and contemplative evening for 20 years now. In a cosy atmosphere, she will enjoy a delicious meal with the women, then perhaps listen to a story or music and certainly bring the evening to a pleasant close.
