Saarpfalz district electoral committee confirms election results

At its meeting on 14 June, the district election committee of the Saarpfalz district confirmed the election results of 9 June and determined the following candidates for the run-off election for the office of District Administrator of the Saarpfalz district on Sunday, 23 June: Frank John (SPD) with 32301 votes and Klaus-Ludwig Fess (CDU) with 24133 votes.

On Sunday, 23 June, the run-off election for the District Administrator of the Saarpfalz district will be held in the towns and municipalities. The original polling card for 9 June must be brought to the polling station. If this is no longer available, an identity card is sufficient. Anyone who has already applied for postal voting for the election on 9 June will automatically be sent the postal voting documents for the run-off election. A new application for a postal vote is also possible. Please refer to the information and notifications from the towns and municipalities.

Polling stations will be open on 23 June from 8 am to 6 pm.

District Administrator Dr Theophil Gallo is calling on citizens to go to the polls: "It is also very important in this run-off election that you exercise your right to vote once again, cast your vote for your future district administrator and thus protect and support our necessary democratic processes."
