Sandra Didion has completed her three-year apprenticeship as a draughtswoman at Saarpfalz-Kreis as the state winner in the 2023/2024 examination year. After four written and two practical final exams, the 26-year-old from Homburg-Beeden achieved 90 out of a total of 100 points. Both Sandra Didion and the Saarpfalz district as a training company have each received a certificate of honour from the Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce in special recognition of this achievement.
At a small ceremony, District Administrator Dr Theophil Gallo warmly congratulated Sandra Didion on this outstanding achievement: "This is an award that also makes me proud. Sandra Didion therefore deserves my sincere thanks, as she has represented the Saarpfalz district in an exemplary manner. I am delighted that she will continue to contribute her expertise to property management and to the Saarpfalz district."
Sandra Didion said that drawing had always been "her thing". It therefore made sense for her to pursue this career path. She was given the opportunity to fulfil this wish at the Saarpfalz district's property management department.
During her apprenticeship, Sandra Didion worked primarily on the construction of buildings B5, B8 and B10 in the European Cultural Park under the supervision of construction technician Thomas Kirch. The newly qualified draughtswoman was not sparing in her praise for her direct trainer and thanked him for his support.
