The Press and Public Relations department sees itself as a link between the district administration and the interested public.
The most important tasks include providing regular and comprehensive information on topics, projects, dates and district council meetings, organising events, publishing information brochures, maintaining photo and press archives, managing honorary gifts, processing requests for greetings and further developing the Saarpfalz district as a Fairtrade district.
The Saarpfalz district website is also being developed under the leadership of this department. They are intended to strengthen the interactivity and proximity of the district administration to its citizens.
