Child and youth health service
The Child and Youth Health Service (KJGD) monitors the health development of children and young people from birth to the age of 18.
With its early help system, the KJGD is the point of contact for pregnant women and families with children aged 0-3, prepares development reports for early support centres in the district, examines children starting school, school children and immigrant children (so-called lateral entrants) as part of school health care, takes care of children's and young people's dental health and is involved in infection and vaccination protection as well as health promotion and health reporting.
