Integration courses
The Saarpfalz District Women's Office organises various German courses that are funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
BAMF B2 course for advanced learners according to §45 (DeuFöV)
The nationwide job-related German language support in accordance with § 45a AufenthG is aimed at people of working age with German as a second language and access to the labour market who want to improve their general and/or job-related German language skills as part of a career perspective. The overarching goal of job-related German language support is the rapid and sustainable integration of participants into the labour market or into further education and training institutions by creating or maintaining their training and employability.
The B2 vocational language course ends with the "Deutsch-Test für den Beruf" (DTB) certificate examination at the corresponding level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Integration course with child plus: prospects through qualification
This 600-hour course prepares students for the German Test for Immigrants (DTZ), which can be completed at language level A2/B1. This is followed by a 100-hour orientation course that ends with the "Living in Germany" test.
With the new ESF Plus programme "Integration Course with Child Plus: Perspectives through Qualification", the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, which is responsible for the programme, has worked with the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland to further develop child supervision during integration courses. As part of the new ESF Plus programme, providers can offer child supervision during an integration course in close proximity to the integration course, subsidiary to the standard childcare system. This enables parents to take part in an integration course and promotes their integration if regular childcare is not yet available and the children to be supervised are not yet of school age. This bridging programme prepares the children and families for the transition to a regular childcare service in the early childhood education system. In addition, as part of the ESF Plus programme, potential specialists - including from among the integration course participants - are recruited for the field of early childhood education and care.
Promotion
Our (integration course-accompanying) child supervision is funded as part of the ESF Plus programme "Integration Course with Child Plus: Perspectives through Qualification" by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland and by the European Union via the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus).
The European Social Fund Plus is the European Union's most important instrument for promoting employment in Europe. It improves access to better jobs, enables qualifications and supports social integration. With the continuation of the federal government's commitment, the stabilisation of child supervision accompanying integration courses is to be further advanced.
