AGH "Road networks in the Saarpfalz district"
The Saarpfalz district offers numerous cycling, Nordic walking and hiking trails, such as the Schlossberg Tour, the Gräfinthaler Trail and the Tafel Tour. In close co-operation with Saarpfalz-Touristik, AGH Wegenetze im Saarpfalz-Kreis ensures sufficient signposting and good passability on the hiking and trail network with regular route inspections. In addition, tables and benches for any hiking trails are made in the available wood workshop.
In addition, the wood workshop has established itself as a second pillar within the employment programme and cooperates with numerous social institutions. All of the workpieces produced are unique and are donated to interested organisations. Particular emphasis is placed on supporting specific groups of people. For example, wooden workpieces are produced for kindergartens to promote motor skills.
