Bürgerpark "Blumengarten" with mining museum
Measure according to § 16d SGB II
In cooperation with the town of Bexbach and the Saarland Mining Museum Bexbach e.V., AQuiS GmbH is realising work to preserve the mining heritage and increase the attractiveness for tourists. The work on the spoil tip and in the flower garden will create new activity areas and meeting places for local residents and visitors to the mining museum. They promote plant diversity and create new habitats for animals and people and increase identification with the historical roots of the mining region. In addition to numerous exhibits that characterise the life and work of a miner, the mining museum also offers an educational gallery in which mining and working conditions underground can be experienced.
